Communications Arts:     

            Listen to and respond to various forms of literature.                   

            Scott-Foresman Reading Series:

                  Shared Reading:  Seeds

                  Amazing Words:  seeds, pod, roots, stem, pit, and sprouts                                                                                         

                  Comprehension Skill:  Drawing Conclusions

                   High Frequency Word:  we, my, like, have, they, you, of                                                    

                  

Math:

        Identifying penny, nickel, dime, and quarter and know value.         

            Simple addition.

            Construct and interpret complex graphs and patterns.       

            (Ex: AB, AABB, and ABC patterns)

            Sorting and classifying objects.

           

Science:

            Unit on Earth

Social Studies:                 

            President’s Day. We will be discussing George Washington and

            Abraham Lincoln.
