Communications Arts:     

            Listen to and respond to various forms of literature.                   

            Continue Scott-Foresman Reading Series:

                  Shared Reading:  Seeds

                  Amazing Words:  seeds, pod, roots, stem, pit, and sprouts                                                                                         

                  Comprehension Skill:  Drawing Conclusions

                   High Frequency Word:  we, my, like, have, they, you, of                                                    

                  

Math:

      Identifying penny, nickel, dime, and quarter and know value.         

            Simple addition.

            Construct and interpret complex graphs and patterns.       

            (Ex: AB, AABB, and ABC)

             Begin measurement.

           

Science:

            Unit on Earth

We will be doing special activities all week to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2^nd.  We will also be reviewing rhyming words.  If you have any Dr. Seuss books at home this is a great week to pull them out!  My favorite story for beginning readers is Go Dog Go!
